Running all the way to Beijing
In the early morning of August 26, against protracted drizzle, Zhang Huimin, an 8-year-old girl, was running along the national road No.107 toward her final destination Beijing, after covering 3558 km in 55 days from her hometown in Hainan Island. Accompanied by her farther who drove a motorcycle all the trip, the little but tenacious girl started from Sanya, the country's southernmost city, and ran across six provinces - Hainan, Guangdong, Hunan, Hubei, Henan and Hebei- before finally arriving at the nation's capital.
