Cebu Pacific Air starts chartered flights between Xiamen and Boracay

On June 22nd, the Xiamen-Boracay chartered flight with 180 Fujian tourists onboard took off from Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport. It was Fujian’s first direct flight from Xiamen to Boracay Island, which boasts of having one of the best beaches in the world. 
 
The maiden flight was carried out by an Airbus 320 from Cebu Pacific Air and took about 2.5 hours, three hours less than the journey without a direct flight. 
 
It took off at 17:20 from Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport, and departed from the Kalibo Airport at 16:30 local time. 
 
There are now two packages available at CITS (China International Travel Service) Group Corporation, including a 5-day 4-night package at RMB 5,499 and a 4-day 3-night package at RMB 4,999. The travel agency also offers an independent travel package at RMB 3,999 aimed at younger travelers. 
 
Meanwhile, the Xiamen-Angkor Wat chartered flight will take off for the first time on June 29th. The chartered flight will be available on Thursdays and Sundays, and will take off at 17:30 from Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport and depart from Siem Reap at 20:10 local time for its return flight. 
 
Additionally, the Xiamen-Gangwon Province chartered flight will be launched on July 6th, which will take about 3 hours and will boast a reduced travel cost.
